Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel has had a baby boy with husband Vincent Kartheiser — but don’t be expecting any newborn photos because that stage has passed. The couple actually welcomed their son last fall, but the lovely news has only just been confirmed by a rep for the actress.

Congratulations to the couple, not only on their new arrival but on managing to keep the entire pregnancy and the birth a complete secret. They have the whole secrecy thing down pat — they also tied the knot in 2014 without anyone knowing, two years after meeting on Mad Men.

The super private couple's baby news was revealed by Scott Patterson during an interview about the upcoming Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls. "It was great to see [Bledel]," he told Glamour magazine. "She’s really blossomed as a woman and how she’s a proud new mother and married and happy."

"We're comparing notes because my son is about a year and a half older than her young son," he continued. "I’m showing her photos and videos and what to expect. We're just really enjoying each other's company."

Unfortunately Patterson, who played Luke on the hit show, didn’t reveal Bledel’s baby’s name, so we’re just going to have to speculate and naturally we’re jumping to Gilmore Girls-shaped conclusions. Has the tot been given a name inspired by the show that we all remember Bledel, 34, for?

Logan, perhaps, after the boy whose heart Rory broke? Or Dean, her first love? Then there’s Jess, Stars Hollow’s bad boy who rocked a leather jacket like nobody else, and Kirk, who was the DJ at Rory’s bon voyage party.

Of course, the name of the character Bledel played is a contender too — Rory is actually more common as a boy name.
