"My daughter has to wear an eyepatch," writes Reddit user Gfgrubb. "Tried to make the best of it."
Yes, yes they did. The amazing selection of designs they bestowed upon their daughter, who reportedly will have to wear an eyepatch a couple of hours per day until she's around 4 years old, are pretty amazing.
There are plenty of touches of geek culture, with Serenity, Groot and Star Wars represented, and lots of sweet kid-themed motifs as well. I adore the way they often coordinate the patches with her outfit of the day, whether she is decked out as a ninja turtle or Marty McFly from Back to the Future. The googly eyes are both adorable and hilarious, and there is no better way to ring in 2015 than with your own custom eyepatch.
Behold the custom creations of Gfgrubb, and may this little girl's family keep doing this amazing stuff, because I love it — and she will too when she grows up and looks back on these brilliant photos.
