Janine was already four days overdue and thought she might be in labour earlier that day but was told it was probably Braxton Hicks contractions, reported the Mirror. However the pains didn’t stop and later that evening were becoming closer together so she set off for the local hospital with her husband Daniel.
On their way to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, the couple — who already have three children aged four, six and eight — realised that they weren’t going to make it before the baby arrived.

“We were in a flap because we didn't know what road we were on and I knew Legoland was nearby so I told my husband to head there,” said Janine. "Going into Legoland about to give birth is so surreal I just kept laughing, I thought if I keep laughing I'll get through it.”
Legoland staff were on standby to provide the couple with moral support and medical help was summoned. At 8:30 p.m. that evening Lucas Francis Atkinson was born in the car park and became the newest member of the theme park.

"We were panicked as it was a bit bizarre being in Legoland," said 31-year-old Daniel. "We had been expecting the ambulance to take us to hospital but as my wife got up to get in they said the baby was coming.
"I will probably be taking him to Legoland at some point in the future but I would have ideally waited until he was a little older," he added.
A Legoland Windsor spokesman said: "We wish the family all the best and will be giving the baby a lifetime membership."
