“On Wednesday, July 22nd I became a Mom. It has without a doubt been the most profoundly beautiful time in my life but also emotionally and physically challenging too....and I am so grateful for every second of it,” she captioned the photo. “Brandon and I are taking care of our healthy, little baby girl, Eva James Jenner.”
Eva is a name of Hebrew origin that means “life.” The middle name of “James” could be a nod to Jenner’s mother, Caitlyn, who recently transitioned from Bruce Jenner.
Many celebrities are challenging the norms of feminine names and are picking names thought of as traditional boy names for their daughters. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were on the forefront of this baby name trend when they named their daughter Wyatt, while Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds quickly followed by naming their baby girl James.
