Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have three grandchildren, but the news of granddaughter No. 3 has been kept quiet since she was born eight months ago.

According to In Touch, Hanks and Wilson "are really excited to have a new granddaughter" via their son Chet. It's reported that the baby was conceived during a "drug-fueled one night stand with a woman named Tiffany."
The new baby is cousin to Olivia Jane Hanks, born in 2011, and Charlotte Bryant Hanks, born in 2013, Hanks' grandchildren via his eldest son Colin (from his first marriage to Samantha Lewes).
While Hanks has proudly shared pictures of Olivia and Charlotte on social media, he hasn't yet spoken publicly about the newest addition to the Hanks family.

It's no secret that the award-winning actor's relationship with Chet has been put under pressure at times. Last year, Hanks spoke frankly about Chet's drug addiction, but also praised his son's bravery and determination to overcome his issues. "As a parent, you love your kids unconditionally," said Hanks. "You support them every step of the way."
According to In Touch, Chet is now sober, working as a drug counselor and financially supporting his baby with help from his parents. "They adore that baby and even spent Halloween with her. She will always be loved and taken care of by the Hanks family," said the source.
