Princess Charlotte, who was born on May 2, hasn't been seen in public since her christening in July so fans of the royal family are delighted to be able to see how she's changing as she grows older. Now able to sit up unaided, she has the same blue eyes as her father but has inherited her mother's dark hair — a contrast to her blond big brother, Prince George.

According to MailOnline, the photographs weren't initially intended to be made public but keen photographer Kate Middleton was so pleased with how they turned out she decided to share them, as a thank you to the public for their "warm messages" about her daughter.
Kensington Palace said in a statement: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to be able to share two new photographs of Princess Charlotte. They were taken by The Duchess in early November at their home in Norfolk. The Duke and Duchess continue to receive warm messages about Princess Charlotte from all around the world and they hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do."
