The video, posted to Facebook by Australian mom Anthea Jackson-Rushford, shows her newborn son and daughter snuggled up for some beneficial kangaroo care with their father. It must feel awfully nice, because the contented infants reach out to hold hands in a move so cute that the video recording the moment has been viewed nearly 8 million times since it was posted just over a week ago:

Since then, the skin-on-skin video has been shared over 100,000 times and continues to grow. What's more is that when the twins were born weighing just 2 mere pounds earlier this month, Rushford had a special reason for sending out her video and photo "blasts":
"We realise it may be a tad bit disturbing seeing our twins with tubes but they are premie babies so it is understandable and normal. I'm sharing photos and videos for the simple reason that it gives hope to all parents out there that even they do just fine! I googled like crazy looking for hope when we told we might be Prem. I would love to see this kind of positivity as a mum that faces the possibility of a premature baby. To all parents that face this, be comforted in knowing that today anything is possible and your babies will be just fine!!!"

It's a message that's sorely needed for moms of premature little ones: It looks scary, but things are going to be fine. Of all the things a worried expectant mom might come across as she trawls the Internet for some information — any information — about her premature baby or babies, this video will be one of the most positive and heartwarming of all.
As for the brother-sister pair, it looks like they can expect to have each other's back for a long time to come, as the two can't seem to stop reaching out to each other anytime they get a chance:

Something tells me that as these two grow, the Rushfords will have quite a dynamic duo to contend with!
